No way. Having owned a Countach and a Diablo, i can tell you that the Murcielago is definately a real Lamborghini. The Gallardo is also, but on a far more daily useable basis, which sort of takes away from the mystique.

allan, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I think the Gallardo takes away from the Lambo mystique of being so useable and accessible (she isn't the wild b!tch you sleep with now and then, it's the lady you take to the office every morning). The Murcielago fits in there with the Diablo and Countach just perfectly, but I don't feel the same way about the Gallardo.
Lexdiamon, the car belongs to my friend's cousin, it is dope indeed. 1 of only 5 XJ220S models built. Some more pics...

I own a one ’03 tt, another ’04 tt on order, a new E55AMG, and a Lamborghini Countach. I am lucky enough to own a Lambo and still I really dislike the Gallardo’s appearance. I think it's simply a matter of taste. Some people think the Countach is ugly, most think it's one of the most amazing car designs of all time. To each his own.

The GALLARDO is one amazing machine! I had the opportunity to test drive one a few months ago ... and WOW!! Beautiful car. The only downside is the luggage space. I would buy one in a heartbeat if it was in my budget now.
