Coolant Reservois replacement

Does anyone have a DIY on the coolant bottle replacement on a TT. The dealer says 5 hours! I can`t believe it takes that long. It looks like removing a turbo pressure hose, maybe intercooler. I would appreciate any insights, thanks

Check with Sharkey. He posted here not long ago on replacing the coolant reservoir.

Hey, look around. Had mine replaced @ a local race shop and was still not free but a LOT more than the stealer. :-)

I thought you have to remove the wheel liner to get to it. Isn't it snaked down into the fender? I haven't done the job but heard it's not a 1-2 hr job.

mike happens all the time on 2001s.. just does You can always Email james@sharkwerks.com if you're doing a DIY... No removing of any ICs. Lowering the motor down, pulling the plenum out (airbox as well) and it's annoying/figity but not 5 hours.

Wow guys thanks for the great responses!!! I`ve been away taking care of business as my father just passed away so have not had a chance to get in to this repair. This forum flat out rocks!!!! and is indeed a "community" of very caring people who are true Porsche enthusiasts and great human beings. Thanks again.
