evo cam and piston help

Guys,
I apologize for the questions but I really need to get moving. Evoms seemed really backed up, so I am turning to my trusted friends on this forum.

Would anybody know the specs on the Evoms pistons and cams for the 996tt. I bought the forged pistons and need to know if the specs are identical to the OEM or what the clearance valve to dome at TDC would be. I am considering new cams and the cams advertised on the EVO website but can' get the specs on them.

And since I am at it, could you help me with what size the GT700 kit's injectors are and at what HP they would they top out?

Thanks for all your help

Your builder can assemble the motor and know that the sizing is correct. I can assure you with the combo used you are fine as long as the head is milled and the new HG is installed. This is nessasy for the cams to be used. The actual spec from Evo on the cams will not be disclosed.

The proper way is to trust no one and measure everything out and recheck the measutrments. If you are going to make 800 then you need to change the fueling system again in the car.

Just like I used to tell people when I had my shop, the only way to find out cam specs is to buy a set..... and even then you only got the "secret" cam if we were doing the entire engine...

Stephen,
Thanks...

So is the evo HG thicker to accomodate an aggressive lift of the cam?

I may be wrong but I recall over reading that evoms uses gt3 exhaust cams...
I dont think that they change the intake side... I may be wrong.
