Sizes? What do you mean by best...wear, noise, performance? What type of driving do you do...track, street, drag?

You can go drag slicks: Hoosiers R6
not as extreme: MPSC
all around: Yoko Neovas
Note: hopefully you understand the nature of the "drag" type tires...they can be tempermental when cold.

I run Nitto NT01 r-compounds up front, and either NT01's in the rear or Drag Radials...depending what I'm doing.

Neither of them should be used in the rain, ever...but on dry pavement, they're unmatched.

Tire recommendation

My 2 cents. I have a 520 HP RUF conversion and track my car 2-3 times a year. I was running SO3s that came with the car. They were good tires but not great and didn't provide the grip I was looking for at the track. I just put on a new set of Michelin Pilot Sports and it is night an day.

They seem to offer a better ride on the street and much better performance on the track. Granted the better street ride might be due to more tread, my S03s were worn down. Regardless it was a very good upgrade.

Nitto and Toyo are sister companies. NT01's are Nitto's vesion of the RA1s, but from everything I've read...the NT01's are the superior tire.

I stay on the street and am thinking of the lesser priced tires ....anyone out there go that route (Tire Rack....some are 550 for all four now, brand left out .....I don't advocate brands). My concern is not going with a high end brand and Nx status. My mechanic recommended brand C for me..... If cost was not issue, I would go M brand probably.

TIA

JB
