What is a 02 turbo worth?
What is a 02 turbo worth?
The car is a 2002 Porsche Turbo with sport seats, carbon wheel and center console, aluminum gauges and carbon around the stereo but other than that basically a standard Turbo. I know some of you know this car's worth better than I, could you help me out? It is also Guards Red with Tan interior.

So if these cars are bringing high dollars, who is buying them? Those who know would never pay the 15% over trade in value IMO.
I have been looking since November and have passed on 20 cars. With relatives in the business I still can't find a car for wholesale.
LSM, thanks for all your help. Joe is now trying to find a car. I'll let you know what happens.
ZO6J,
I saw a 2002 996TT, Guards Red/Black, Aero, Stick, with 4500 miles , on Ebay, for a "buy now" price of $89.5
It's located in Arizona. Sounds like a deal to me if you want Guards Red

True to a point. None of the 12-15 01 TT on the market in the mid 80's have moved in 3-4 months. The low production numbers for 04 help, but everyone knew about this way back in November 03. Stealers will not let one go for wholesale, they would rather sit on them.

I would think that with the 997 around the corner, as well as rising interest rates, the prices of the 996TT will be under even more pressure soon.
Keep in mind that the prices of these cars rise significantly with good weather, so if you want one soon, getting one now might be good idea.

No problem. Joe was telling me that his buddy with the 01 turbo couldn't swallow the $72k wholesale value. oh well, he holds out he'll be sorry. That car should retail for like $76-$79k at most with that $72k wholesale value. Any luck with Aaron?

I made a good offer on that 01 car in Florida, Joes buddy was not happy about the offer so he dumped it in Florida for 79K (which I don't buy) The car was worth 77K.
Arron is still looking, but doesn't think anything will happen. He suggested I talk to you about your 03, but I think its more then I can afford.
My brother works for the Toy Store and they have been looking at a couple cars a week for me. I guess there are quite a few TTs that are not worth a second look.
I doubt it will work out in time for this summer, who would have known it would take me over 18 months to find a car? LOL
