AAAAARGGGHHHHH...I broke another JIC sway bar link!#@$%#@!!!
Well, I've been leaning real heavy at getting the JIC's, but this thread just exemplifies more of the same thing I keep reading about their support. Also, it now seems that it has a design flaw. I was hoping with Vivid in the picture that these issues would get resolved, but it doesn't sound good so far (not Vivid's fault it doesn't seem). I guess I'll just take the other choice and go with the PSS10s. Pay that much money and you shouldn't get these kind of stories.
I ended up selling my car so mever finished with the solution. I don't know what Vince is going to do but I agree with what Woodtster pointed out...go with the TRG links and call it a day.

Are you guys who are upgrading to the TRG drop link just buying the fronts or are you purchasing the rears also. I need to order some ASAP and get them down to Auto Talent. After all the compliments with the JIC units, I would not even risk it with their new drop links. Its just not worth it. I also had a set of Cross in my 996 C2 Widebody and it also broke the drop links. I think the JIC is a great suspension its just the drop link part they manufacture that is the weak link.
I am going with tarett droplinks, i just bought their rear toe adjustable control links, ordered one afternoon had them the next morning by 9am. Excellent service.

The few times I've gotten on the car it's felt more stable, however I haven't been able to fully push the car lately as it's been in the shop, so no real full review on them. From the little time I have had driving them I could definitely tell a difference (I actually didn't know they came in as they had been on back order, but Titan got them and installed them, I called Nero and said "does the car have different sways on the car or any adjustment to the suspension", sure enough they where on)
Finally got mine done to replace those who have had JIC issues or want to upgrade.

I personally wouldn't be to hasty to blame any manufacturers drop links. Our GT2R race car runs full factory RSR uprights, blade sway bars, monoball control arms , and factory RSR drop links, and we have broken 3 front drop links. Looks like the cause was the set-up and the links were binding at the full extent of the suspension travel in bump. Looking at the suspension on a hoist or with the weight on it , everything looked fine.
Have now altered set-up and drop link lengths to suit our ride height and no more broken drop links.
Hope this helps.
