Stephen, I always try and be opimistic about things but this has really put me at the edge. If Paul doesn't come through with this then I will go another route. I was just hoping the company that is building/marketing their very expensive products to Porsche/euro car guys would be willing to support their products after the sale. If they don't I will never buy another JIC/Cross product again. I'm assuming you have a inside scoop that I don't. I'll wait until tomorrow and if they fall through you may be getting a phone call from me....

I agree with Stephen, and besides the DL's Paul wanted to send me looked like
they were for a Honda Civic.

my front droplinks also broke on my JIC setup. i replaced the fronts with TRG's drop links. They are holding thus far. I have factory sway bars in the car. I spent some good coin on the fronts! Please do keep us all informed if there is a fix.

I really hope you guys find a good long term fix. I would also think that Paul would be highly incented to find a fix as if one of those drop links snaps in a turn on a track.... well it would be very easy to loose control of the car and have a totalled car. No one wants that on their heads (especially when people's lives are at stake!).

My strong advice is fix the problem, don't charge people for your fix. You have a faulty design that must be made right!

My 25 cents...

Cheers,
Boris

UPDATE:
I just got off the phone with Paul this morning and he said he had all the parts. He is shipping them to me today and I should have them early next week. I'll let everyone know when I recieve the parts.

Also wanted to say thanks to Dan @ Vivid. He offered to help me get the parts from JIC but in the end Paul wanted to deliver on the promise he made to me. I'm looking forward to finally getting the parts needed to "fix" my suspension problem....

Updated :

Paul came through for me as well and got my springs here on time, and even took care of a problem with a leaking shock as well. I still went with the TRG links but look forward to getting the car back on the road with the 7/10 setup and proper endlinks. Will post results once I get them.

Apology

Hi everybody,

I want to sorry for those people had to wait a long time for a response from me. I am trying to clarify everything for everyone but I do want to know who still needs new drop links. As you know we have change to a new design and to use the new one, not only the drop link has to be different but even the drop link mount has to be different. Please PM if you still have issues. Also if anyone has issues with new design please let me know also. So far I know we have not had anyone with issues with the new design.

Paul

UPDATE:
I received my new Dampers, droplinks and mounts yesterday. The new drop links look to be beafier than the old version. I am running H&R sways so hopefully this setup will withstand the upgraded sway bars.

Thanks Paul!

The really fun part of the updated part is that you get to remove your front
coilovers to get the new drop links in. How handy is that?

So the "fix" will only cost you 4 or 500 bucks.

Did JIC replace all the broken drop links out there or did most of you go to TRG ones?

I just noticed today i to have a broken JIC drop link, so i need to try and get mine swapped out or is it less brain damage to just buy some TRG drop links?

I have the JIC Coilover setup with GT3 Sway bars, will the TRG drop links work on my 996TT?

i haven't had mine replaced. but i have had an expensive solution offered to me.

I really do want it fixed and my feeling is that if a product is defective that it needs to be fixed correctly a recall if you will...
