i was thinking about that too. there are a couple companies online that are offering that kit. the seats look kind of weird in thier website pics. something about the shoulder wings added onto the standard seats. at least in the pics, it didn't seem to blend well. do a google search for porsche sport seats and the sites will come up.

Evan: What did you think of the way those shoulder add on pieces look in person? Do they look like they were just tacked on there? I noticed the ebay auction mostly showed the backs.

You can deff. tell they are added on, but they are pretty good.... Best option for non sport seats IMO.

These look better to me.

www.nrauto.com

Go to Porsche accesories and they have them under seat conversions. It adds the sport backs to any seat, turning them into the sport seats. This is also a way to get "full power" sport seats, because to my knowledge, they are not full auto from Porsche, just auto seat backs.

the NR seatbacks might look better, but they're almost 2.5 times more expensive (2200 vs. 900) than the ones on ebay. At that price, I'd pick up a set of gently used sport or GT3 seats.

MSB - if you end up getting them, let us know.

Here's another company that's doing it.

I'm sure they're probably made by the same company as they all look pretty similar. Looks okay. Almost wish they just had the backs without the wings.

NR does the full conversion and one similar to this. The full is nice, but you might as well just buy a used set of real sport seats for that price.

Here's a shot of the NR add on kit. Not sure why they used such a ****ty looking seat for thier promo.

i was kinda thinking about getting those ones from ebay and putting speakers on the side flaps like alter mentioned, but i am still deciding what to do. i have seen some sport seats for sale here and they cost as much, used 2k. then i would have to get the backs painted. not to mention my seats are heated so i don't want to eliminate this function. to my understanding sports seats do not come heated.
i will post pics, that is when i decide what to do.
