Is there a sponsor here that sells these tips?
I like the turbo look if possible on a 996.

Thanks a lot.

there are no real good "affordable" tips out there, especially for a 99. I researched this in depth and they are all overpriced to the extreme for what they are and how they are all made.
Here is a link for a low cost decent option.

I went with the Blacks and they fit perfect and have held up great. They are slightly larger than stock

here are turbo style

That's not going to happen, because manufacturers base their prices on the fact that our Porsches retailed for over $80k when new. They don't price their products for the consumer that cheaps out & buys an extremely depreciated, 100k mile, 10 year old 996 with no options, no records, 5 previous owners, never serviced, & leaking RMS for under $20k at auction, lol.

Not all of us have the means to purchase, or desire to purchase a "new" $80,000 car. Actually, maybe its that we have the common sense to know that we are throwing $45 grand out of the window in 4 years just for the sake of being able to say "yea, i bought it new".... to anyone that asks.

Save the condescending bs for someone else, im not impressed.

take the depreciation hit, or take advantage of the depreciation hit...which side is best? Relax people, we all come from different walks, to the same P-car...in due time.

EB847,
Can't respond to your PM for tips due to some limit issue here.
Can you PM me over on Rennlist? Same name...

BTW,
P/N 996.111054.04
Don't know the year, but I put them on an '01 996 C2 and thought they stuck out too far. I believe they are sized for the new bumper covers w/ the extended lip.

They are oval w/ the lower section flattened for ground clearance. They are adjustable in how far they stick out by about an inch.
Mine are used but there is also a brand new set on Rennlist too...
