millenium, 100k guy replaced engine (56k) with clutch and ims, well maintained and good PPI.
I want a DD, would like to keep it till it falls apart, 12k yearly comute, just seems a lot of miles for the body.... OK so engine will be good, what about the rest... will it endure 300k with proper maint?

let me know what you think...

What about the general condition of the car? Is the interior badly worn? How is the body? Accidents? You're not giving us much to work with to evaluate the car...

the interior is very good with the exception of the door side panels, some cracks in the wood. Body is good, no accidents. I think davebho is right, nothing to loose a night sleep over, could probably get a better deal.... I do like the interior of the millennium, comes with all the bells and whistles... should probably just look at a IInd gen 996 or 997...

Run very fast in the other direction. That car should be $17,000. If you can get it for that then go for it.

eh he's asking a bit much stay away. I would also check underneath the car for rust spots, leaks, axel issues, RMS, IMS etc. I would find out the exact history on the car what state it came from how many owners. If the 911 came from upstate driven in the rain and snow it may have alot of rust on the chassis also same thing if near the ocean especially if the car was not garaged. Keep looking don't rush the search.

Good Luck!

even though we in the 996 forum, i'd say spend a bit more and go with the 997. i've seen some cars in the 30's. I almost bought an 05 997. black on black, nav, sport chrono, 19" sport designs, 2 yr CPO plus more for $39,500. Another buyer swooped in and purchased it before i could get there...

i've driven 996 and 997 and the 997 is a MUCH better car overall...
