Raced a silver Carrera a month ago...

New member here. It took a few weeks for me to recieve an email for my membership on this board. anyways..

About a month ago, I got my first chance to race a Porsche. Unfortunately, it wasnt a turbo model. I was just wondering if it was any of you guys from here.

I raced the guy(looked to be in mid twenties) from 95 to the first exit/toll booth on the NJTP. It was a silver carrera and looked to be a 2004 model. it had dual exhaust tips with indentation on each tip.

I should've been more specific with my first post.

I was in the exit lane to get home and this porsche Carrera flew by me. So what the hell, I began to follow him onto the turnpike. I got right behind his *** and saw the carrera sign and the car looked 100% stock. There was light traffic and he was cutting in and out but nothing too dangerous. I was keeping pace about 4-5 cars back since I'm not so comfortable with cutting in and out of traffic. So i stay back going between 100mph-120mph for about a mile or so and then I see that traffic was clear ahead of us. So I punch it while being back 4-5 cars and I start to gain on him. I looked down to my speedo and it read 140mph and I kept pedal to the floor and passed him pretty damn hard. It looked to me he was giving it all it had as well since I saw his car take off as soon as traffic cleared. I must've went 150mph or more. What a rush!

I haven't had a race go past 120mph for a while. After I passed him, we were reaching toll booths and he gave me a highbeam and i gave him a nod and we parted ways. It was a good race and my first race ever with a porsche. BTW- It seem like a new porsche right before they redesigned the front.

And actually, it was about 2 months ago. In January and the race was with my supra..

Don't these guys know that most of us would rather lose a race driving a Porsche than winning one in a ricer?

I just noticed that you're a female. If it was a girl racing a porsche..then I woud've slowed down after I passed her and follow her around town.

It was a young fella...seemed to be in mid-20's blonde/brunette hair color.

no one here?

If it was a sport bike he really needs to learn how to ride I TOASTED a C6 Vetter (about this same if not faster than a carrera) on my gixxer 600

What's the deal with you buddy? Did I strike your nerve with this post? I just wanted to know if the porsche owner was on this board. It'd be cool get together with porches. I love them. simply amazing cars.

I guess you're one of those thick head, ego filled, and cocky porsche owners.

BTW, your statment makes no sense. Did you mean to call me a ricer or my car a ricer? ...
Ricer=person who drives a riced out car...a car can't be a ricer in itself.

And let me guess..i'm a ricer cuz.....i drive a toyota? or is it cuz i have a honduh?
