Question Suggestions pls for Ctr Console Replacement pix attached

Guys, any suggestions on what to replace this useless casette holder with?

-I'm thinking of blank off plate or another cubby like the one below.
-I'm leaning more on a blank off plate so I could modify it to hold my V1.
-Are these available from porsche?

Excatly Mike, who the f*ck needs a casette holder when we still have perfectly good 8 track tapes?
The damn Germans had nowhere else for their Hasselhoff tapes? I dont get that detail, it stinks.

i first just put another cubby in there instead. not too much later, i removed both cubbies for the GT3 console delete which gives you a ton more knee room.

Porsche indeed makes / sells a cubby for that spot. I have the tire monitor display and the sequential shifter display in my lower cubby, so I use the upper as a place to toss the sunglasses & cell phone. Depending on what State you are in it is also a good spot for a compact 9.

Personlly, I think that anything much below normal driving eye level is too low for the V1 display. But I know that many have it in that general area and are satisfied.

I agree that is also good spot for gauges.

I think that any blank plate (and many have done that sort of thing) needs to be custom made (although almost any good interior / stereo shop (some tuner shops as well, like Akkurat) can make a blank for you.

(They make a CD version as well. I agree the cassette unit is silly)

Put your V-1 remote in the batwing below the storage console. I did it and also KPV did it and posted pics. Works great.
