Strange Electric Problem

Well this just started, when I turn the car off and pull the key out then get out and close the door the lights on the dash (speed, time, et.c) and radio stay on, even after the valet lights in the door go out. However, if I look it they go out, but if I open the door they go on as usual but if I then close the door they stay on. And there is power going to the radio because it turns on.

Any ideas as to what might be going on here, I'm affraid if I miss it it'll drain the battery.

Ignition switch? Always the first place to look when things in the cabin get screwy.

My 99 C2 does this also. Eventually the dash goes dark. I have had not battery issues yet. I will be using a trickle charger soon anyway as I don't drive the car everyday.

I noticed the same thing yesterday while waiting in the car for my wife. The overhead lights faded out but the dash lights stayed on. Eventually they too turned off after 2 mins. Not sure if this is normal, maybe someone else can comment.

Ok, when all else fails....read the owners manual:

Clock
The
clock is blanked out approximately four minutes
after the ignition is switched off or when the

car is locked.

I suspect the other display's and radio are all connected.
