Interesting run in with the law...
Yesterday I could not pass up the beautiful NJ weather... so I took my P-car to lunch...
Lunch was great and heading home on a 1 mile stretch of local open highway I took the car up through 3rd gear... I slowed down to 60 in a 50, and passed a cop... I get pulled over. And I quote "do you know why I pulled you over? Me NO sir... Cop: why is your wing, I read in an article in autoweek that the wing on a Porsche comes up at speeds over 70mph. Me: laugh" the cop also let me know that this is not the first time he has pulled people over for this reason. I respond that I simply put it up manually. He obviously did not believe me. After getting out of the car and showing him how it works 10 mins late he told me to quit my job and become a trial lawyer, and get the heck out of here...
I was just surprised that traffic cops are capable of reading...

Good story. Did he know that if you DID NOT put it up manually, that it would have lowered back down when you stopped?[/qu
He sawl me under hard breaking and by the time he pulled me over it was down...

That's a pretty funny reason to get pulled over. I hate being asked "Do you know why I pulled you over?" My typical response now is "Well how long have you been following me for?"
Couple years back I was bombing down the Gardner Expressway trying to get to a team meeting around 5pm. So as usual, I'm doing about 220km/h, passing people on the shoulder, passing people on ramps, basically getting by wherever I could. I get pulled over by a cute Metro cop that asked if I knew why she stopped me. I asked which of the above it might have been. When she was done laughing she told me to slow down and asked if I was free for a drink after my meeting.
Sense of humour usually pays off.

I dont have the dash mounted spoiler button, but if i manually raise my spoiler w/ the kick panel button, it still goes back down after 45mph. How can I get it to just stay up? Do i have to install the dash mounted button to do this?
