Depends on their cost per hour. It's usually about a two hour job.

Job should take about 4-5 hours. Multiply that times the shop rate in your area and you should get an approximation of what it will cost for installation. Keep in mind that exhaust systems vary in design and how they are installed, so the cost will also vary from system to system, and the installers experience with your system and car is another factor.

My local Porsche dealership charged me $500 for the install too. In retrospect, I could have saved a few $$ if I had gone with Cantrell Motorsports. I'd go with a shop that you feel most comfortable with and has experience with these types of installations.

I paid $450 to install an AWE system with dual tips, but they did spend an extra hour or so checking out, inspecting and adjusting other issues. In Los Angeles.

4 hours - usually have to remove rear bumper and maybe intercoolers. My charge to install a Europipe system was about $360. Intercoolers did not have to come off.

Did it myself for free. Invested in a 13mm ratchet wrench (advice of eclou). Took some time cuz I never did this kinda thing before, but it was fun and I learned a little about the car. I had to remove bumper cover, but that is no biggie. ICs don't need to come off, but I took 'em off anyway just to make things easier. They come off and go on like nothin.

Very pleased with AWE

Most places charge around 400$. I did my own recently, 3hrs skin to skin, stock to fabspeed, left the bumper cover /ic's on. It's fun. Highly recommend a shorty ratchet wrench set, 22mm crows foot if you can find one. I'll post some nice pics I took soon enough, as well as an evaluation of the latest generation 3.5 quiet exhaust from fabspeed.

I have been told 8 hrs for cats + mufflers. That's a lot of work for only 2 hours.
