You will have no problems with strength. It is also about 55% the weight of steel, depending on the alloy.
Metric bolts are rated at 120,000 psi for grade 8.8 and 150,000 psi for grade 10.9. Which grade bolt are you assuming to be equal?

It simply makes no difference. Poggipolini uses only ASTM Grade 5, 6AL4V Titanium alloy for its fasteners. These fasteners are truly aerospace grade, utilizing the ultrasonic immersion testing process required for proofing. The tensile properties and incredible yield strength of these 14 mm fasteners are more than adequate for any automotive application like this on a lightweight vehicle such as the Porsche 997. Creating a load failure for a fastener such as this on an automobile would be nearly impossible, considering there are 5 on each wheel.
They are original equipment on the Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia.
Ferrari gets $100 each for them.

Poggipolini makes an excellent product, no argument there. I would however defer to the manufacturer's expertise before assuming a products suitability.

Point Taken, and VERY good advice.
You can get a download (PDF) copy of the Poggipolini catalog here:

Today I got my Dymag's under my TT again: Dymag had repaired them and they had sent them to my local wheelshop two weeks ago!

So first due two installation of GT 2 front under arms & H & R sway bars front & back I had first wheel alignments done to meet Michelin Pilot Sport Cup's.

Everything looked good, but very soon they noticed other one is still leaking... this time it seems to be between the tyre & rim. They did the tyre installation twice and maybe tomorrow I will find out if the problem is by gone.

I must admit Dymag handled this quite well & fixed my problem, but beeing without the set for over 8 weeks is still something I don't want to go through again!! So I really hope they will keep all air in this time!!

I believe their R & D will go on and in the future they are able to avoid similar problems. Final test for the wheels will be during my next track day!!

FYI- I have now camber -2,6 front & -2,0 rear ( front with shimplates) + Michelin Pilot Sport Cups: there car feels so agile & sharp with this setting when Dymag's are on!! You will not believe the difference in drive wheel compared to stock one: car is really in Your hand.

But with stock wheels & Pirelli PZeros which I had to use when Dymag's were back in the factory, these camber setting are awful, almost dangerous!!

So my advice is to keep camber setting where tyre manufacture recommends- go only strong negative with semi slicks!

Wink Dymag's

I got my set today...

Great color match ( Carerra B4 ) white spokes !

Thanx to Ben at Wheels Boutique

Waiting on my TI Lug's wich will be powder coated black...

You will have to find a wheel shop with a CorgyMaster machine since the wheels cant be clamped at the rim, and the face is magnesium.

Most Roll's Royce dealers have these wheel machine's

I found a wheel service that is going to pickup my wheels and tires and install the tires and tire psi sensors for 110.00

Iam going to get a set of Continental tires for my stockwheels for a spare set assy's to have around...

Did Dymag inform you of the tire mounting method?

That machine is similar to the one in the bottom photo (see link)

The shop is the one that my rims will go to when they arrive.

Thanks. I look forward to the pics. I have a friend who is trying to persuade me to buy a white set of dymags for my white RS.
