Randy Probst driving APR 997 Turbo

Check this video out. The car has software and exhaust. The thing makes 700lb/ft of torque with just the chip and 100 octane.

looks like too much power for the suspension. Lots of movement in the transitions

At the time, the car was bone stock. They were track testing the software. It now has a Koni setup in it. Here is a more recent shot of the car.

We have a bunch of guys running it here in Charlotte. It is the best software. Smooth and strong. We offer a money back guarantee on it. The engineers at APR have figured out a way to unlock areas of the Torque settings that cannot be matched by anyone else.

In addition to better numbers, they are doing it with less boost. On top of that, they offer program switching that is all doen through the cruise control and interfaces with the dash. No external boxes needed.

Agree,
most important mod to start with suspension tune and upgrade to help put down the power evenly.
That car is a Turbo to me very nice.

The color is awesome. We see red ones, black ones, silver ones but the blue is rare. Anyone know how many have ever been produced?

I agree. APR has a motorsport partnership with APR and they eventually developecd a APR Koni Challenge GS Class Prep Suspension that is on the car right now. Handles the power much better. I actually rode in that car with Ian Bass at Road Atlanta and the thing felt like it was ripping the tires off. You coudl feel the tires are rear suspension flexing for grip. Now that it has the race suspension, it is a lot more sturdy platform with the power.

Holy Smokes. That's a lot of power for just an ECU tune.
