is the difference in the seat basically the amount of tailoring to the shape/size of the individual driver?

No...adaptives just allow extra bolstering...I like them but it's not a deal breaker by any means.

Congrats...nothing better than a blk/blk turbo. You can still add a short shifter if you want it. It's worth every penny and better (to me at least) than the ***.

Now flash it, add exhaust and wheels, etc. ,etc!!!

+2, I barely ever use the adaptive bolsters, but I do think they help come resale time, but your not thinking about that anyway.....congrats and enjoy your Turbo

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, resale isn't important to me. This is a 10 year plus car for me. I've had my M Roadster for 8 already and will be sorry to see it go, but it
doesn't make any sense to keep it now. May as well get a few bucks for it.

Short shifter's on the list of things to get, as well as the clear side marker things, tint, 3M. I'm not sure about the flash real soon since I did pay a premium for the CPO and don't want to risk it...but I'll probably still do it anyway.

btw, nice cars for a "young" guy. (lol, younger than me anyway, by a year).

Inspection went real well yesterday, just waiting to get the DME scan data this AM (which I don't expect a problem with - but never know).
It is pretty well optioned and does have a tubi, but not the one with the black wheels. Interestingly the one I think you are referring to (which is in Texas) was offered to me a couple weeks back for 90000 in a quick flip before it hit the dealers. I passed since it was missing a couple key options I wanted and I personally wasnèt wild about the Champion aero package that I would have had to change out etc. Now I see it listed for 105000 - WOW, thats some markup ...

I will be amazed if they see anywhere near 105,000 for that car.

Hmmmm...the one I was thinking about didn't have an aero kit, unless I'm mistaken. Iirc, it had HRE 20 inch wheels and the Tubi, but it may have the kit that I didn't notice. Would've been nice if I'd found one with a Tubi already in place but I'll get an exhaust upgrade soon enough.

Hope it meets your expectations!

First thing I'd do is tell the dealer to take his decal off the rear bumper RIGHT NOW! Doesn't add anything to the look of an otherwise beautiful car.

As to options you got the important one - sports chrono. Everything else is superfluous. I know because I got a lot crap put on my car. I'm not sure I've ever noticed the leather seat backs, headrest emblem, leather dome light cover, etc. Things that are more important such as wheels, exhaust and suspension upgrades can always be added as the budget allows.

Take the time to learn your car and enjoy it with safety and good health.
Above all read the owners manual.
