Pulled the trigger!
already (I need them here) so I was going to check with them anyway. I hope the decal comes off easy.
After seeing what you can do to a car I'm afraid to call you. My licence would be shredded in no time flat. Well okay, in about 8 seconds.
Thanks for the comments guys. I should try to figure out "multi-quote" so I can reply to everyone, but all comments appreciated.
It's surreal thinking about this. On my drive home last night I think I saw a black 997tt in my neighbourhood! Looks even better in person, the pics just don't do it justice.
I feel like I ordered a hot mail-order bride and am just waiting for her to arrive. Hmmmm....better not let the wife see this message.

Thanks. You must be loving your pdk turbo. Imagine that, you can hold your drink in one hand at the stoplight and still trounce almost all comers if needed. The video that showed the tester drinking a bottle of coke while going 0-100mph in under 7 seconds was sweet.
It sounds like we have purchased our cars almost at the same time. I can't get enough of mine. The power is simply incredible, it makes my previous M Coupe feel like a honda civic. Congrats on your buy, and enjoy in good health.

Hope to see some pics when you get a chance to hold your tremblin' hand steady, Bogg.
Oh, and keep it in second gear on the highway - you don't want to do the 50kms over the speed limit thing in Ontario, right? LOL
Have Fun!

Prior to the M Roadster I had a 1988 MR2 Supercharged. Geez, it was hard enough to part with that. I grow very attached to my cars. The 911 turbo has always been the "holy grail" of cars for me. Not sure why specifically, I had never been in one until last fall. Something about it just totally makes it a dream car for me. Yeah, I thought about a used Ferrari like the F355 spyder or an older Lambo Diablo but the reality is that they are not really daily driver material.
After I came back from the test drive of the GT Silver 997tt at the local dealer (a fellow 6-speeder actually ended up buying it) there was a black one on the lot with tinted windows and (I think) Champion RG5 rims. That was the moment I knew that there could be no other colour 997tt for me.

I like that comment about the M coupe. I love my M Roadster but understand that the 997tt is in a completely different power league.
Soooo true about the speed limit thing here. It's the on-ramp launches that I'm looking forward to and then settling back down to an acceptable speed.
