Pulled the trigger!
That was for the 2008 and 2009 model. What year was yours again? On the 2007 I thought someone posted that it just needs some 8 dollar adaptor part. Oh and congrats on what sounds like an amazing trip in your new wheels. I've dreamed of driving up that coastline too, perhaps in the future.
BTW, I presume it would be much better to drool on your PCar than your patients! (except perhaps the cleaning up after part...)
The transport canada website says it's the 08 and 09 coupes. I don't imagine it's a big deal to expose the anchors but mine is an 07 so it isn't an issue. I'm not sure about the label but my understanding is that RIV sends you all the labels once you've passed inspection. They will for sure send you a SOC label (statement of compliance).
I save the drooling for the P-car only.

I'll put them up shortly.
Ohmigod, this car is like the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I LOVE IT. And it's not just about acceleration, just the whole driving experience, the way it sounds, the way it looks. It was worth waiting for, no question about it. My god, it even "pulls" in 6th gear at 110km/hr, and I mean some really impressive acceleration even if you don't downshift. Talk about flexibility. I haven't really opened it up. Only had it for 2 days so didn't want to have it taken away too soon.

I know it's not the colour for everyone but when I think of Ferrari I think of red, when I think of Porsche I imagine a black car. Mind you, there are many colours that look great on the Porsche but you can only have one (or at least I can only have one!).
sent you a PM

I gather you haven't even had time to get your AWE exhaust installed yet. That should add even more entertainment!
Soon afterwards:

The TFX trailer shows up with the replacement:

Yeah, that's more like it.
Quite the snug fit in here, hopefully there were no horses in with the car:

The first drive in the car, easy does it:

I'm not sure if it was Marshall Goldman or the Porsche dealer or TFX transport who thoughtfully put a steering wheel cover, plastic on the seats, and protection for the mats. I wish I'd left the steering wheel cover on for the Canadian Tire inspection...more on THAT story later.
The girls are really excited about the car (my other daughter was having a nap but I'm sure it was from the excitement of the car).

My daughter refers to the car as "daddy's black cat car". In the dark with the headlights on it does look like a black cat. I put my 3 year old in the back seat (which coincidentally seems designed for 3 year olds) and took the girls for the spin and they were so excited. My daughter wants to be the official poster girl for Porsche now:
When the car first rolled out my wife took a look at the rims and asked "why would you ever want to change those?". I must admit that they look great in person and only okay in pictures. I had considered 20 inch rims and lowering the car too but I must say that the pictures seem to exaggerate the space between the tire and the body. The sliver of rubber on the rims is pretty small, 20s would be even smaller.
As far as lowering it, forget it. I've been taking all of the driveways on an angle but when I pulled into the Sunoco to get gas I wasn't careful enough and heard my first "crunch" as the spoiler met the pavement. Thankfully it was just minimal damage which is hard to see.
The orange side markers will be replaced soon with the clears and the taillights will be replaced by the red ones. In an odd coincidence, as I was driving to the DMV the next day I saw a black 997tt with red taillights about 2 blocks from my house. Lived here for 4 years and haven't seen more than 2 997tts and of course I now find my twin car nearby!
