Softronic Tune for 997.2TT... First Ever PBox Run on 6Speed!
I also asked him to supply new ducts and pre-modify them to fit the I/Cs at Protomotive prior to shipment, along with any other necessary hardware for the install.
I did that for two reasons:
1- I would like to keep all stock components stock for trips to the dealership, and
2- I would breathe a lot easier knowing that all modification work was carried by Protomotive themselves, rather than play the proverbial "Russian Roulette" thing with our workshops' quality in Kuwait.

Thanks mate!
Thanks bro.
Had the tune been 100% I would agree that I would fit the ICs first.
Now if i go ahead with the fitment of the ICs first, I would never know for sure how much improvement I am getting over stock with the improved tune.
My data would be jumbled up.
1- I would have incremental improvement of the tune over stock prior to tweaking it.
2- Incremental improvement over stock + base tune due to ICs.
3- Incremental improvement over stock + base tune + ICs due to tweaked tune.
If I sort out the tune first and then baseline it, I would get the full improvement of the tune over stock.
I can then flash back to stock and install the I/Cs and baseline that improvement in isolation.
The re-flash to the tweaked tune and baseline the combo improvement of ICs + tweaked tune.
Beside benefiting my mates over here on the 6, logging all these individual steps would help me determine bang-for-the-buck for future cars!
Thanks Skand. I appreciate it.

Yes bro! A lot of lessons learned here!
Smart move with the fitment and IC selection. I have these IC's and they work great. Keeps the IATs down with virtually no pressure drop. I like your idea of upgrading component at a time and acquiring data each step of the way. I think in this case, though, you'll probably want to install the ICs first so they can nail the tune, no? It's an adventure for sure. Good luck.
