Road trip

In travel from Canada to SoCal for a few months each year and try to enjoy some of the great small highways and tracks. As you can see I have a new "mod" - a roof cargo box. I prefer to call it a roof spoiler. You will also note that some small highways end in nowhere - this one is somewhere south of Mojave desert. Track photos are Willow Springs (big track) which is one of my favorites. Speed Ventures offers some great track days. I find the new TechArt II wing noticeably adds to the rear down force (supposed to add about 30%). New dog bones and engine mounts add nicely to the "feel" of the rear end through the corners. Bilstein & HRE rocks as does the AWE 620 kit. Now if only I could learn to drive .......
Hope you enjoy the photos - the TT is great for all driving styles and I'm always amazed how you can thrash it around a hot track for a couple of days and then just jump into it for a road trip and daily driving. 33K miles - and it just keeps on humming along.
K.
P.S. There sure are some good drivers from the LA area.

I take off the roof spoiler because the extra HP & TQ it adds is too much to handle on the track.

But I bet the spilled underwear on the track will slow down your competitors.

I have one of those at home too but it has a ducktail spoiler (I actually call it the mother-in-law suite, indicating its primary use these days). Now I just need the Pcar to attach to it for true utility...
