battery question

I'm lighting up the car as much as possible and looking for a lightweight battery. Thought about the Porsche Lithium Ion battery but it seems pretty expensive ($2,395) and only 18 Ah. Weighs 12 lbs too, lightweight but still more than most.

Any brand/model suggestions? I am driving my car daily. I can carry a battery charger that can be used from lighter, but don't like to charge it everytime I leave the car in garage for 2 days or so.

Thanks,

$300 for this setup. Not as good as the Porsche product. I use a battery charger that plugs right into the battery.

I had some good experience with http://www.braillebattery.com/ . Don't leave the car without a trickle over winter or so.

You can get both the battery and mounting online. Mounting bracket is rennline and the battery is Odyssey. I have the Battery Tender battery charger and I keep it on the battery when parked. If you drive the car every day, no need to keep it on. If you let it sit for more than 4 days, I would hook up the charger.

With a charger, no issues. No charger, one week.

I use the Battery Tender Plus 12V battery charger. I always have her hooked up and have not had an issue for three years now with the battery you see in the picture. The 911 eats batteries due to it's large voltage needs even when you set the alarm. I had to replace mine during the first 10 months I owned the car.
