SharkWerks Invades A Porsche Dealership
SharkWerks Invades A Porsche Dealership
SharkWerks was recently invited to an open-house technical session for the Diablo PCA Region at Porsche of Livermore. We would like to thank this very forward-thinking dealership as being invited to such an event is somewhat unusual for our industry. The level of support that their entire staff has shown us over the years has been both appreciated by us and indeed our customers who not only venture to the track but also modify their cars.
As you can see their facility is state of the art. Kermit is parked next to a 2011 GT3RS. The car on the left is actually getting our bypass exhaust, rss suspension links, SharkWerks FE kit and more...

Some of the parts that we brought for display were actually for this very same 2011 car:

On the other side of the shop area during set up. Looking at some of the other cars on the lift we were happy/surprised to see even more SharkWerks built GT3s/RS' getting alignment and general service. Very small world!

We also bought a couple of friends with us. An EVT775 997TT as well as the SharkWerks 3.9L 996GT3:

Some of the parts on display for the Tech. Talk:

The shop foreman, Manni, giving his Technical brief and perspective on 25 years with Porsche:

SharkWerks then stepped up and discussed the importance of working together with Porsche dealerships and understanding the desire for some owners always wanting more than the factory gives (aka we're crazy!):

Overall we really had our eyes opened to the changing times of Porsche dealerships and shops such as ourselves working together. We're all enthusiasts and we all want to take these cars to the track and/or tweak them here and there. Let's face it almost no two P-cars are ever built with the same options. We want them our way and it's really refreshing to have such a forward-thinking dealership in Northern California. If you are located in the East Bay and want to get your car set up for the track, need some service work, have a modified car then give these guys an honest try.

It was good times, sorry we had to bail early. The good news is we where in contract for the Livermore house that night, so I look forward to working with Mani and this dealership in the future.
Nice pics of the meeting/tech-session
Last time that I was up at Livermore Porsche a couple of weekends ago there was a 959 being serviced as well as a rarely driven 993 Turbo getting some restoriation work done.

Very impressive to see your workmanship, products and great customer service are getting recognized by a P dealer. Well done and great review. I guess its not every day this kind of thing happens for an outside shop to gain this level of entree into a P dealership. Congratulations guys!!
