Exhaust Auditions in TX (FVD, Cargraphic, etc...)
Exhaust Auditions in TX (FVD, Cargraphic, etc...)
After a life of dreaming and a lot of searching, my first porsche will arrive soon ('09 turbo coupe). Beyond excited. Wanted to reach out to our 6spd community to see if anyone lives in TX with an FVD or Cargraphic exhaust, and could "open their doors" for an audition. I live in the Dallas area but open to a road trip if needed. Much appreciated.

Ryan, you are doing the right thing and if I were you I would actually make a point to listen to every offer here. Repeated listening increases perceptiveness IMHO; for example second listening is vastly more informative than first. You're an audiophile, you know what I'm talking about.
One thing to add though: I would NOT audition now because you have no reference level. Wait until you have the car, drive it for a few months so you have an idea of what you are listening for and what bothers you about the stock system (the hair dryer whiny sound, the loudness, etc.). Then... take up all the offers here; just beware of that "eclou,"
he'll cause you to spend money.
