It's actually a bit more hodge-podgy than that

Love the CF goodness upgrades!

I saw the beast on the rack Thursday and she was already looking good.
I had a O2 sensor heater acting up and throwing CEL.

EH, will you have her ready by 03.12? Heard you had to order a new sensor and bumped my car out of queue yesterday, thus it didn't get done in time for the weekend!

Underdrive Pulley installed. Now its time to button everything back up. The underdrive pulley is not a simple install. It requires quite a bit of disassembly to gain access. Y-Pipe had to come back off, airbox & filter, exhaust system, engine bracket, and of course the rear clip. I would advise waiting to do this mod until you know you will be removing/replacing the majority of the above mentioned items.

Can't wait to get this beast back on the road today.

RE: Underdrive Pulley information provided by Betim at (BBI)

There are no adverse effects to running this pulley. The benefits are slowing the drive accessories down closer to gt3 speeds without hurting the performance of them. It is a safe way to protect your crank shaft from sheering the located pin due to the heavy loose fitting factory pulley. You will also find between 10-12 Hp at the wheels.

Nothing is ever easy!

Things are not going as smoothly as anticipated. They were getting everything ready for completion today and look what they found in the airbox. It appears the air-conditioner pulley somehow rubbed up against the outside of the airbox and burned a hole through it.

There was a bunch of plastic in the air box as well. The strange thing about it though, if you slide your hand between the airbox and the air conditioner pulley, its almost two inches away from the box????

I don't get it. How could this have happened? Body/engine flex???

More down time...

A-Eighty, yes this is starting to get a little irritating to say the least. I was quoted 5-6 hours plus an unknown amount of time for the underdrive pulley. Since they had everything else apart, they didn't think it would be too difficult (underdrive pulley install).

They have had my car for over a week, and now this! I have a track event on Monday (3.12)....this is killing me...I was hoping for 10 days of driving/break-in before hand.

New clutch already, how many miles? Stick or Tip?

It looks like we like the same laparoscopic instruments (although our Aesculap Prestige graspers rotate. )

He cleared my CEL and said to bring it back to swap out the O2 sensor when I had a chance. Doubt it happens this week so will just run it as us on Monday. Maybe you can bring your OBD2 reader/clearer just in case it acts up, but was told it won't "limp" on me.

So they still have your car? Will you get it flashed in time to "learn" new settings?

^^^I'll definitely bring my OBD2 Reader...my car may be throwing codes as well due to the lack of drive time prior to Monday. I actually pulled the ECU when I dropped the car off last week Tuesday, overnighted it to Champion.
They Flashed it on Wednesday and overnighted it back out. I had it Thursday morning.

I actually installed it yesterday at the shop. Champion said with the Flash they set-up for me I will not have a "learning" period. Time will tell...hopefully it will finally see the road today.??.

Trying to source a new airbox by Friday.

I ordered a new Sachs stage 2 clutch and will continue to use the stock single mass flywheel with my manual Turbo. Have about 39k miles on her. No idea why she needs a new clutch so soon.
