Typical Dealer Service Cost

Hi All-

I purchased a new (to me) 2008 CPO Turbo Cab a few months ago and it is due for it's first scheduled service (24k).

The first obvious question is, while the car had 20k miles on the clock when I bought it, is there anything significant that would require me to have service done now (assuming the CPO process identified major issues and replaced all fluids)?

Also, can anyone provide me with a rough estimate of typical costs for each 12k interval service?

it varies, but is important to do the once a year thing...cost depends on what they need to do

i would say 400-1000

Once a year would be a good idea but since the car was just CPO'ed i don't think you need a yearly service that soon.

Yearly service includes, oil change, fluids check, brake check including going over the car. My local dealer charges $435 for this service.

Having said that, brake fluid ( every other year) and oil should be changed atleast 4000 miles or once a year which ever comes first.

Hope that helps.

My deal is about 450 for the annual service and like 750 for the every 3 year service (includes brake flush, etc..). Both of those figures include our annual state inspection (about 80).

I wouldn't assume all fluids replaced during CPO process.
