I only have four hundred miles on the car, all I can say is wow, the forward thrust is well you have to pay attention, allot quicker than the 2008 I test drove, did not buy! The PDK I am still getting used to , manual mode, auto mode, sport , sport plus, have not launched it, but love sport plus in manual mode, in auto love sport on the paddels. Car is softer than a GT3 in handeling, but in sport or sport plus you feel the bumps just the same. I would like some more exhaust noise, future mod, but I have to say an amazing car the PDK is. More to come as more miles on the clock!

I'm in similar club, at 1800 miles now, haven't done launch control yet but did a few 55 to 120mph WOT sprints including one straight up a 15-20 degree hill highway - even with stock exhaust it sounds like a huge screaming banshee with full boost....reaction of my girlfriend in passenger seat ... Priceless

Still haven't done overboost - trying to figure out how fast I need to jam on the pedal for that

 

I have 700 miles on my 12 997 turbo. It is hands down the finest car I have ever had. Unbelievable acceleration,handling with a fantastic ride. Glad to be part of the club.....

 

My god man that is the most amazing combo on earth, i have a 2007 white with black interior turbo, but would love to upgrade to this eventually

 

This is the best color combo one can ever dream of... Do you even realize how rare White on black 6 speed turbos are

they are nice machines. i have 4.5 months left before i haul it out again. also thinking of an exhaust mod after i get it back.

 

Glad you are enjoying the incredible experience of the PDK. It will keep getting better and better. My 2010 turbo is now 2 years old and is absolutely perfection. When you eventually launch it, you will be shocked at how violent it is and so thrilling. I had a passenger who thought he was going to be sick. Rumour has it that it induces mild vertigo. I actually love the sound of the turbos as it sounds like a jet. The whoosh is fantastic. If I want loud exhaust noise, I jump in my G3RS and then a whole different experience begins. Only Porsche could produce these types of different super cars.

 

I had a GT3 2007, I dont even know how to lauch the turbo yet?
