Another 997 Turbo Maxspeed LED Upgrade

First I'd like to thank Nello for providing us with a cool(pun?)cost effective upgrade. Product arrived on time in fact faster than expected. I ordered the 21 piece kit and started last night with every intent of completing the install in "20 minutes" Well it took just a BIT longer than 20 minutes along with a few f#^%# in the process but I got it done Everything was pretty straight forward with the exception of the engine bay light. For whatever reason the engine bay light which uses the same bulb as the frunk and center dome light does not function properly, meaning the LED is very dim and faint. I thought this was bulb specific but I swapped the known working LED from the frunk and still had a dim light. Spoke with Nello about this and he said he's working on it and will make sure to note this on his website. Attached are a few pics of before, 1/2 points and afters, now I just need to find some matching fogs. I'll post a few more of the interior and rear tonight, I was tired after the 20 minutes of work last night Sorry Nello just giving you a hard time.

Let me know what you find on matching Fogs... I also did the maxspeed led upgrade and am searching for the fogs as well.

I did an intense search for matching fog bulbs and unfortunately they're are none.

The only solution to match the color is to have an HID bulb kit installed ($$$).

I don't think I'm going to change the fogs out as they're rarely on with the exception of using the home function. Reading all the previous threads it looks like a PITA install.

I thought I had heard of someone retro fitting 997.2 Turbo LED fogs but haven't heard or seen after his installation. If I recall, it wasn't cheap.

One additional note of caution regarding swapping out the front city light bulbs. The bulbs come very close to the lens inside the led cluster. I knocked off one and believe me it is nearly impossible to back in. Would advise using the shortest of the batch for these lights or modifying the housing or bulb itself.
