We can't compare wiring of your car to eu or us version... Only you can do it
We can't plug in piwis as look what's going on, can pcm3 be seen as unit or not...
It's not a busless version... but if you don't have most and want it its easy to add, only thing you need is pair of optic wires of needed length.

I've bought an 997.2 from japan without PCM, they use Clarion units. The guy who imported the car, cut wires and adapters and now there is an alpine unit which is working fine, but i would love to have the OEM look in the car. So i tried to retrofit PCM 3.0 unit in the car. I have no MOST-Bus, but BOSE sound system (it's BUSLESS) and there is an original Porsche CAN-Box installed behind the unit to get all the signals you need to make an aftermarket unit working.
I installed the PCM 3.0 and do some wiring, i've grabbed CAN H/L from the CAN Box (yellow/blue and black/blue), Ground, 12V and a green Cable i think it's for wake-singal (?!) and the white/red for the AMP.
The first thing i want to is that the PCM is starting and shutting down with the ignition and that it will show me my trip data. Unfortunately nothing happens. I just can start the PCM manual and send it to sleep by pressing the button.
Is there any thing i have to do like coding the car, so it knows there is an PCM to send the correct data? is it even possible to retrofit the PCM to a non bus 997.
good question, first i tought it would be good to have any infomation to reconstruct the wiring because they cut all the connectors.
But since i know that the original wiring was not a quadlock i think it would be better to wire things directly new.
What i did today, i pulled out the CAN Box from the backside and pinned out the green cable and put it on wake-up pin from PCM. Now everythings fires up on ignition on und turns off on igition off.
So far so good, i get informations such as temperature and a few more trip informations, the clock is working and a i get a wrong date; i can't set the date to the right one (31.12.2016 or something like that). I am able to play a cd and connect to BT a make a phone call.
I Think most things are running now.
The PCM unit is now correctly binded to the CAN line. There is a rustle noice when i mute the sound from cd. Maybe because of the analog transmission PCM -> AMP? Sound like if you turn up the volume without any sound.
Do i have to loop the MOST Signal back to the PCM? It's blinking MOST port. Or can i leave it blank? Do i need to connect anything else? Do i need to send a signal or power to the antenna(amp)? If yes, which color is it? i have two white/white wires with no information and no signal.
Thats the original CAN Adapter from Porsche 977.642.127.00, i let it in, but no need anymore
7PP.035.233.M - The sticker says busless. So i tought it is busless. i was not able to see a bus connections as well. The green wire for wake-up / is it maybe just an ignition signal (12v) Old wires and wiring. Some connectors i think for japanese toll units.
Use wiring diagrams, that's the way you can understand do you need to connect wires or not. As I remember here you can find wiring diagrams, you need to read out whole topic.
I don't think you need a most loop adapter. But sure you need to code all new units to your car with piwis
It's not just moving the one wire, it also requires PIWIS programming. If you read the thread of the link in my last post you will see that. Not sure when I will be able to get to the dealer to have that part done.
Been a while since I posted, but I finally got around to swap out my aircon... but ran into some problems and looking to draw on the knowledge of this community to help solve them...
So I've done the wiring as per below, and reprogramed with PIWIS 3. However a few strange things are happening.
1) the aircon is not working (all other functions are fine/functional)
2) The footwell air does not work.
3) The HVAC unit still flashes for a few seconds on startup
Also what was strange was when we plugged the PIWIS in, it was already in the "internal" setting.
We tried setting it to both internal and external and the aircon did not come on.
Any ideas on what can be wrong and how to diagnose this?
Everything was working of course before the switch over, so freon etc. are toped up.
Here's the instructions I followed...
What you need to do now is remove the wire from B16 in the red block, the pin holes are numbered on the bottom of the block.
This wire needs to go in the empty slot in D14 on the black colored block.
On the Gen 1.5 and 2 Version there is an Evaporator temperature sensor connected to the now empty B16 and ground but you don’t need this it works fine without.
Reassemble everything that you just took apart in reverse order.
You need to recode now with PIWIS version 2 - PIWIS version 1 won’t do this part.
You will need to activate your new HVAC unit by doing a vehicle handover operation in PIWIS then change Compressor setting from external to internal setting in the A/C controller in PIWIS.

The only thought - you have bought broken ac unit...
Hey Serg. Unlikely as it is OEM New. Hmmm.
Would you know why the setting would have showed "internal" originally? It didn't have to be switched from external to internal.
Although we toggled between both settings to validate if that would fix the problem, but it didn't.
Thinking that it may be the connector for the wire that needed to be moved.

The climate control unit that I have is an updated version for the 2009.
The thread states that the 997.653.205.02 is needed, however I have the 997.653.205.03 FTC.
Going through emails and checking on line, the old "02" unit was discontinued and replaced with the "03". In every way it should be the same, but wondering if someone could check if this is accurate?
The D14 wire (from the red block) is the white and black wire. This wire was added to the black wire block in the B16 slot. All of this double checked.
In the photo, I've spliced the white+black wire to a white+purple wire from another wire-pigtail, so I could reuse the "female" metal connector end point.
Then in durametric, when I check the compressor, it says inoperable, even though the climate control has been activated and set up for the relay.
Any thoughts on what else could be the issue?
