Bad news, i need opinions
Hey guys,
Yes it's me AGAIN with bad news...!!
Gf didn't close the hood and the hood open when i was driving. The hood has the tips bend and a littler bend in the middle. I toke the car to the body shop and they said it will cost me $450 but i'm not sure if the car is gonna look perfect. Should i buy a new OEM hood? maybe a Carbon Friber Hood with Carbon Fiber intake scoops & black rims?
What will you do? (nooo guys i'm not breaking up with my GF lol)

OEM GT2RS matte carbon hood will run you about $6500.
OEM Tequipment gloss carbon hood will run you $6800.
Seibon carbon hood will run you about $1600, but you'll need hood pins.
OEM unpainted hood will run you about $600.

It will look good as new if u repaint the hood and the paint will probably hold up better to chips than oem. My front bumper was repainted and definitely gets less chips.
If u really need to go with cf then go with the flat cf like oem

The next modification is the Werks1 air intake, i hope i don't get any problems....

Wow - so the safety latch didn't work either? Why did she have the hood open? Even if she inadvertently opened the hood with the remote or the inside switch, the safety latch would have held it closed...that plus the warning in the instrument panel. Sure you're getting the whole story?

I would just have the original fixed first, then if you're not happy, replace it.

I just order a new hood, Chris i agree with you, i don't really like CF (i like the GT2 RS but that's $$$$$$$$$$$$) i think CF is good for a Nissan 350Z (no offence)
