Track Seats?

I have looked at a few different styles of race seats but, would like your thoughts and prior experience's.

GT3 euro seats (if I can find them), Rottec sport seats (with upgraded seat brackets,) and Sparco Evo's.

Does anyone have ownership opinions on these? Does anyone have a better recommendation?

I want something that is supportive at 5' 10" 130lbs.

I have the GT2 seats in my turbo and they are great for track use. At your build you MAY need to add some padding in the hip bolster to minimize movement but you wouldnt need to add much.

I dont know their weight but they are carbon fiber and only fore and aft adjustable so they are about as light as you are going to get.

They are airly comfortable too. I have done 2-3 hour drives and had no issues.

I wouldn't be driving the car for that long. Would love the GT2 seats but, I don't want to drop $7k for them.

Additional, padding is correct, The Sparcos did fell good.

Check out Tecnocraft Carbon seats, they only weigh 6lbs each and will save you a good amount over gt2 seats. I would still like to get gt2 seats for local driving. Tecnocraft for events!

Wow, 6lbs! Do you have these with the Pad or dry? I would assume their pricing on the web is per seat making it a $4K investment. I see that Porsche isn't an option, did you buy different mounts?

Thanks for sharing!

id also recommend Recaro Pole Positions. They are very easy to get in and out of and they are very comfortable. I had em on my E92 M3 and did a 500mile trip with no pain whatsoever in the end.

They make them for Porsche. I got the padding for both seats and brackets for Both seats as well. It's about $5,500
