DME and PPI thoughts

This is for a 2008 GT2 that I'm interested in. Posting mainly to get thoughts on the attached DME. After alittle research I'd say this DME shouldn't be a concern. But would like to hear some opinions please.

The PPI I also attached seems fine except for the worn tires. Thoughts on this as well please.

Thanks alot

This looks like the DME from a Rennlist post earlier this week - I thought the responses there gave the impression of "no worries".

I think they were until we learned that the total hours counter was 317.. Meaning that the 3 and 4s were recorded within the last hour..

As on the other Rennlist forum, I think everyone provided you with all the information you are going to get. Not sure what else you are looking for here?

Everyone who has responded on both forums continues to suggest there does not appear to be any major issue (opinions). What else are you looking for? It is your decision...

Well, tires needing replacement can set you back a considerable amount. And if the tire wear is uneven this can be a sign an alignment is called for in order to maximize the life of those rather expensive tires.

I note the center radiator is leaking? That can be expensive to address: $700 (roughly) for the radiator -- there may be good aftermarket all alum. radiators available (there is for the 996 Turbo) but I'm not aware of any of any for the 997 Turbo -- and the book time at a dealer to replace this can run 5.2 hours (based on my recent experience having all 3 radiators in my 03 Turbo replaced at a dealer).

If one radiator is leaking one or both of the others might be leaking too, though this might not be visible without removing the bumper cover and pressurizing the cooling system.

i researched a bit, its had considerable track, not the best example just because mileage is low, might be a good deal at the 120 mark
