SRF Overkill
SRF Overkill
I have PCCB's and only do road use and service the car every 2 years as per schedule.
Would SRF brake fluid be overkill for road use? I read that it needs to be changed annually and doesn't necessarily match the other fluids. Any one using it on here?
Thanks

SRF will outlast other high-performance brake fluids due to its low hygroscopic nature / high wet boiling point. If only for the street, changing it every 2 years is no problem. If you are tracking, you can get away with once a year (depending) whereas with other brake fluids (Motul, ATE, etc.) you really should change them after every event or two.
Summary -- yes, it is overkill for the street but isn't much more costly than other high-perf brake fluid. It will last making it cost effective.
