Yes it was done in Toronto, unfortunately I cannot recommend the shop any longer, they will remain anonymous.

Oh that's too bad.
And can you confirm if it was a hardware or a software patch?

Also did this resolve any issues when on the track? In previous posts many claim there are no issues with general road driving, but they do pop up if one wheel lifts or in a 4 wheel drift?

A lot of these questions have already been answered in this thread. You need to remove two sensors from the front differential and keep them plugged into the harness. No software is required. I can confirm that I have not experienced any issues on the track, even with multiple wheels lifting off the surface, drifting, etc.

I rerouted the harness and sensors into the trunk, next to the battery. I have had this setup for years and about 50,000KM, and I have not experienced any issues. I have been on many track events and "road rallies," and the car is most certainly driven hard. I even have had it totally airborne a couple of times.
