heads are going. been trying to knock out one cyl per night after work. Here are some rough in, to 80% complete (final sanding not complete until all 24 ports are measured and reasonably the same).

This is a very mild port, focusing on the normal pinch points.

Thanks to an awesome jig from SRM I have the 12mm conversion half way done.

This was sour prototype, inserts remain the same, from right to left, locating pin, drill bushing, tap bushing, drill bushing (2)

We still recommend having the liner case and heads drilled on a bridgeport for accuracy but the case part is very easy with this tool.

Yup.. my cylinders/heads done on a bridgeport.. cases with this jig.

How are you planning for the final rod assembly especially the hated center cylinder?

Not sure. It came apart easily so I am hoping/assuming I can get it back together

I'll be posting a step by step 2 weeks from now when I re assemble my bottom end. There is an order for it to be done.

I like the direction in this build. Good luck and looking forward to your updates. Please don't go quiet on us when its complete!

For me its either going all out with displacement or do just the very basics like this which carries the least cost and risk of all options. Anything in between to me personally is meh as then it just adds up very quickly and you end up wishing you did more while you were in there at least it does/would in my case.

yeah center cylinder can be a pita, easy to mess the rings up. i dont recommend doing while tired
