Anybody able to get the MF buttons to work?

Hi guys, I fitted the 991.2 wheel today to my 2007 Turbo (Tip) it was all plug and play (but I did have the later module from a previous Sport steering upgrade) the one thing we could not get to work were the MF buttons, has anybody been able to get them to work?

nobody can get the multifunction to work.

paddles + horn work fine provided the car is a 997.2 (or 997.1 with the 997.2 steering module)

for those that are interested, on the 997 custom retrofit modification Facebook forum there is a lin-bus adapter that will 100% get multifunction and all steering wheel controls from the 997.2 steering wheel to work on our 997s.

you WILL ALSO have to have the newer 997.2 steering module on your car as well (for you 997.1 guys who are looking to do the swap)

300$ shipped from china, a user named paul li has even created the pdf's for installation as well as videos to show how it works on both 997.2 + 997.1

quite awesome imo.

Great tip myw, thanks! I'm currently in the process now of retrofitting a 991 wheel onto my 997.1.

Would you happen to have the link to the Facebook forum you're referring to?

This is great news and please PM me the link. Just to confirm this only works with a 997.2 wheel not a 991, correct?

This guy figured out a way to work the 991.2 multifunction on a 997.1, 997.2 , 991.1, boxster and caymans. Plug and play solution

What about a 997.2 turbo S. We don't have the multifunction wheel. Would I have the module since it's a 997.2? I sent Paul Li a FB message about purchasing the module.
