Butt Ugly...

Ok I got my FedEX delivery today. I also watched Masterwerk. I am more convinced than ever.... GT3 for me. I think the new 997TT is just butt ugly. It may have some major performance enhancements but what happened in the style department? Is it just me. What do you guys think? Let the flames begin.

I said the same thing when I saw the 996 for the first time.

I'll reserve judgement until I see it on the street, can't really get a good feel for it in the pictures. The wheels are hideous though, I can't believe they're sticking with those ugly children's tricycle looking things. GT3 does look much more promising as of right now.

I have said before that I didnt like the picture's, but have to say that I will have to see it/drive it to really comment, nothing is as good as when you get your butt in that seat and drive and stare afterwards.
I hated the way the new S class looked, but today went to go drive it and fell in love with it, my brother wants the S65. I wouldnt buy it its just to damn big but MBZ did a great job. Sorry if I went OT!
I did see the masterwork video presentation and the interior does look busy to me, but then again I will see what it is like in person.

No flames, but part of a decision is performance, part asthetics. I think my go karts are ugly...but they can't be beaten. I think an F430 spyder would be a great garage queen for me, but a TT gets many jobs done, including track work.

Butt ugly...ummm...M5 when it came out. Now it's growing on you. I'll never forget the first Dodge Ram I saw...Yikes. That new Miura, not my taste. I could go on, but I won't.

I will concede that nothing is ever final until you see it in person in a lowered state with some fitting wheels...

For now, 997 GT3 on order...

I feel the body doesn't flow...looks too busy
I dislike the lights in the front grille and the intake splitters and 500 base HP should have been a minimum these days

I would say I have to agree completely, and no your not the only one whom feels this....a LOT of other people guys are. And to add insult to injury = its even HEAVIER than the 996 TT to boot... The GT3 will definitely be the "hot," sought after model...you're not the only one on THAT decision either, lol.

I just watched the masterwerk presentation on there website. I must say, they do a great job of packaging and selling. The presentation really gets you into the car. But as far as looks go, like everyone here... Im sure its going to look great in person. Change the wheels, lower it a bit... I'm sure it will be a winner. I'd still take the gt3...
