Another C6Z06 997tt thread.

I can't do a warm up? LOL!!! I sure do hope that this will be the FIRST and probably the only time that other Porsche owners that always neg rep me would agree with me that that is just the most rediculoous comment ever. Dude, I HAVE RWD, 420 rwtq, and I am on runflats!! That's like me telling you "You can't be in 2nd gear from a 40, you have to be in third"..
You can either accept to race my BONE STOCK car while me having the ability to spin out my tires to warm them up a bit, or you can decline because you don't want to lose. It is your choice, but I am telling you right now that I will drive 100 miles out of my way for this race. Accept or deny, it is your choice.

So when I said replicate the video with you on stock rubber with no warm from a dig what did you think I meant? I also said that we can do other runs as well, you warm up one from a dig, 20 roll, 40 roll, 60 roll, I don't really care. I'll agree to anything that you want but you must also do the some for one stinking run. Which is what is the in that vid. I think I'm being flexible here.

Does anyone else think this is just rediculous that I can't even warm up my tires? hahaha...wow, incredible. You that scared to lose to a Z06 with just a little tire chirp before the race?
I will tell you what, either I am allowed to do a burnout and we run up to 125 mph (the 1/4 mile mark), or, I am not allowed to do a burnout (God, just typing that sounds so silly) and we run to 160 from a dig.
If you don't accept either, then it is clear that you just don't want to lose and I am not wasting my time driving 100 miles South.

I think one run without warming the tires would be interesting... at least to compare to the later runs with the tires warm. I agree that it would be a waste of SCvets time to drive 100+ miles just to race with cold tires but Indykid is not saying that you cannot race at all without warming the tires... just the first run... that doesn't seem too much too ask... and I think that if YOU -- SCvet -- don't accept that it looks worse on your part because you're already making excuses.
Just my 0.02... I hope you guys can work something out.

IndyKid, I will give you ONE RUN with my tires cold (which will prove NOTHING) and then we run again with me doing a burnout for the next dig race.
We will also run from a 50-55 roll up to 140-150. There, deal??

That a boy. It will prove that the vid is correct. Deal.

And for the record, do not be ignorant and base these results with the 996tt to a 997tt no matter how similar you think they are because of power output, they are different animals in every way.
Indykid, what city do you live in?
I miscalculated the distance from where I live to the MI/IN border. I thought it was 70 miles but it is not. It is actually a lot further. But, I am still willing to drive out if you are willing to drive the same distance and meet me half way. Let me know.
Martin, I had the idea that the 997 TT and a stage II 996 TT are similar in performance. If not, that is fine, I will still get a video of myself beating up on a modded 996 TT..

I live in Indy. I really never had the intention of driving all over the place that's way the offer said "in the indy area" and considering that a friend of has a c6z06 that I can race anytime it's not really worth it to me. Just come on down and make a day out of and see all the cool stuff in Indy. I'll drive about 70 miles but that's it.
