I don't really think that you can be upset that I don't want to drive around looking for z06's when they are right here.

Anyway, no biggie, Lee. I am so eager to race another 997 TT or even a stage II 996 TT because of a situation I had with a video some time ago. In a nutshell, I posted the thread here about the race with a 997 TTand asked for predictions. I then raced the 997 TT and won everytime (As I was expecting. Not being as ***, but a 997 TT doesn't trap at 125+ like a Z06 does) but was never sent the footage of our race and then everyone started calling BS (which I understand why they would). So, now you know where my eagerness to race another one comes from..

You seem like a cool guy and maybe sometime if I am headed down that way, we will get in touch and hang out / race / cruise, whatever. Take care.
Just "raced" a red ZO6 today in San Antonio on the 1604 access road. I have a 2007 997TT with manual/sport/stock. The conditions were wet (it's raining here). We were stopped at the light...we both looked over and nodded with thumbs up. The engines revved. I thought he was nuts...I had all wheel drive with traction control. The light turns green...I get the jump and have about a half car length on him through the intersection. I bring the car near red line and shift to second. The 'vette disappears behind me. I look in the rear view mirror and I am looking at the 'vettes rear end off the left side of the road. I took the next turn around and checked to see if the driver was OK. By the time I returned, no ZO6. Driver and car must have been OK. Bottom line, the 997TT rocks. The Z06 definitely performed like a GM automobile today.

So he's putting down over 1000whp now?
My 2 cents. I have an '07Z06 and an '01TT Evo stage II tip (similar to an '997 TT tip). The TT is much easier to launch and would win through the 8th mile. If the Z06 got a good launch, it would catch and pass the turbo by the quarter. Both cars have similar wheel horsepower, but the Z06 is 300lbs lighter. Both cars are rockets and if I had to choose, I chose the Turbo.
WTH, is there no one here to shut these dudes up? I'll bet you wont bet me too 400m with my AWD, Im not sure how my power level relates to a stock 997 TT but I would bet I would beat you in that too. You just dont realize how big of a disadvantage you have on the street. I'm in Atlanta and have a trailer but I'm not driving all the way up there.
