Another C6Z06 997tt thread.
Z06 is faster no doubt. But I'd still take the 997TT. It has all wheel drive, way easier to launch than a Hi-HP RWD car (especially on the street). Average driver in RWD is more apt to bog or spin off the line, thus killing their run.
With both drivers being of the tiny percentage of drivers that are really good at launching and especially at a track, Z06 is will likely win. Far too many cases of this point being proven with time slips. .

The Z06 may be faster top end but as far as 1/4 mile with an average driver they are very evenly matched. I would certainly put my money on the Turbo for a 1/4 mile race on the street, the Z06 is faster top end but wont walk the Turbo down by that much that quickly, the Z will have to have a great launch which, not many people can do on a reg. basis at the track and even a lesser percentage can do on the street.
And besides not to bad for a car with 25 less hp 10 less torque and 360 more lbs

And there are some EVO's out there that with the right driver would smoke a ZO6. Does that make the EVO a superior car to the EVO? No, I didn't think so either. The 997TT is the superior car because it can be driven much faster than the ZO6 by most drivers.

Sentence 1 translation: The driver does not decide which car is superior as any chitty driver can lose a race.
sentence 2 trasnlation: An EVO superior to an EVO... what???
Sentence 4 translation: The car is only as fast as the driver.
Maybe I've misinterpreted something?
