Painting rockers and spoliers

Hi Guys,

I ordered mine in meteor and am having second thoughts about painting the rockers and front/rear spoliers...

Any thoughts? Will it create that much more of an aesthetic?

What about painting the rear and rockers and leaving the lip stock black plastic?

Will it make that much more of a difference?

Thanks for weighing in.

SG

The front lip will get scratched. The rear lip is nearly invisible from the usual vantage points. The rockers look better painted (I think) and my car is slate. Meteor is lighter and the rockers will be even more noticable if left black. Just my .03 (inflation)

If you go this route I would def. wrap the rockers and the entire front nose (including the lip) in 3M film

I liked the black contrast on the Meteor one we saw up in CT.

paint all of them. leaving only the front lip in black would derange the car line from the side

I actually like the contrast of the black around the bottom. Plus the painted front lip will get scratched up for sure.

Either paint it all around or leave it alone. I might be in the minority, but I prefer to leave them black. Makes the car look sleeker. To each his own...........the beauty of having so many options to choose from.

At first I thought I'd like the black bottoms, but I've seen a few with the painted rockers and I think that's the way to go. I wouldn't get the fronts painted as it'll get scratched and chipped.
