anyone else go for the turbo logo finished in body paint color?

I liked it on my 997S so I ordered it again for the TT

 

I'm thinking to paint mine red

 

I think black works best with your car unless you do the color to match (either way works). See if someone can photoshop a red "turbo" logo on a Carerra White car to get a better idea?

 

do you guys think it would look good in meteor on meteor?

Keep one thing in mind, once you remove your logo that logo will probably not be usable again if you deceide to go back. I think all color to match logos work, even Meteor Grey. Nothing wrong with the stock logo, but I think you can spruce it up a bit if you want to make it more interesting? Color to match logos take a little "bling" out of the car and it has enough "bling" to start with IMO.

 

I took mine off completely. Keep them wondering.

 

I've changed my logo 3 times so far and I can tell you that it's possible to re-use logos again if you put on the adhesive that can be bought at any auto parts store.

 

how do you do it? do you remove all the old adhesive then strategically place enough of new adhesive on the fatter parts of the logo so that it will stick?

 

It'd be a lot of work to remove the old adhesive, carefully cut the new one before putting it on, and reapply the logo onto the car. It's possible though.

 

if you just add more adhesive to the old adhesive, doesn't that just raise it up some off the paint. i would think it wouldn't fit nearly as flat as the way the factory did it since you'll have double layers of tape.

 

Re-read what I said earlier carefully. I said to remove the old adhesive first before applying the new.
