Just got something in the mail...

i recieved a black box from porsche today, inside was a metal license plate like thing with a special code on it. the letter says, " the raw metal stands, like the rubo cab itself, as a blank canvas to help you find your color" it directed me to go to a website in which i could pick different colors and they would send me 5 personalized complimentary posters.

i love how nicely porsche's marketing guys operate, very classy and it sets them apart from alot of others.

Nice!

If you want to see the top of the order in "service after the sale" check out Mini Cooper, for as long as I owned that car I felt like I was their only customer, just amazing.

I was at Melbourne Porsche Today and the Area Rep was there and showed me this promotional gift to be send to potential buyers of the new Turbo Cab. He didnt know the criteria for selecting the population of this mailing.

I think I could live a good life still without receipt of this.

He confirmed that as of Aug 1st there will be a price increase as stated in other threads in this forum.

Porsche sent me a tape one time, yes a tape back when VCR's still walked the earth. It blew up in my VCR. Took me an hour to take the damned thing apart to remove it. Reminds me of my past 3 P cars in a way.

Like wise Khaled, not only that as if they are indirectly hinting or telling you to upgrade to the newer Cayenne in my case.

I got it in the mail too. Kind of cool, you can make up to 5 free personalized posters (you choose the color and the name on the print.) You can also inite up to three friends to play with the color selection tool.

A few years ago I received an MP3 player with a few audio tracks already installed. History of the turbo, the specs of the upcoming 997TT, etc. Once done you could erase the tracks and use it as a normal MP3 player. My wife works in marketing and she was shocked by the entire package. She was trying to guess the per unit cost
