997 Turbo same on track as GT500

The Z06 had the fastest time which isnt too unbelievable but GT3 looks like it had 20's on it and the profile dont look like the normal MPSC's.

The use 3 drivers (I didnt see any names) and I wont hate the drivers until I know that they werent prodded into driving 8/10ths or something and the cars werent sabotaged. But based on results alone something is wrong with the pictures.
Thanks man, we are grwoing slowly but surely, looking to hold some events next year at TGP and maybe Roebling so I expect to see some Hinkle's there.

There is no way a GT500 could get anywhere near the same time as a 997TT... That car has almost the exact same suspension as a normal Mustang... It has horrible handling. With a good driver, the 997TT will embarras it on the track.

The 997 tt is just as fast as a Ford Mustang around a 3:05 minute track. If these numbers are true...what a piece of ****. Come on Porsche...wtf are you thinking where a standard 400 HP Corvette is faster then your top of the line Porsche
I can't wait to here the guys at the track discussing this article...

I wouldn't put too much thought on this.
But a Corvette is a really good track car. (however, I can't help but think that C&D is being paid to praise the Corvette because they're ALWAYS doing it in every article)

The C&D guys can't turn a faster lap at Willow Springs in a TT or an AMV8 than a modest (non-pro) driver in an 89 Civic with 100 hp. That should tell how something about their skills and results

I have no problem with the article
I was surprised to see the base C6 Z51 do that well. I wasn't too surprised to see it beat out the R8, both cars are very close in acceleration/handling.
