lockmk is infamous around these parts
I have a new 2009 997S and was shocked at how sloppy the factory ride felt. Sharkwerks in the Bay Area recommended switching the springs for TE items and the sway bars to RSS items. Instant improvement in ride, stiffness and confidence. Job done and considerably cheaper than coils overs.

I've got a full set of H&R springs for sale, PM if interested. They are take offs, but are low mileage.

second-hand info: i bought my techart springs from a guy that swapped them out for h&r's. He said the H&R's were super firm and he felt like he was destroying the car. Also said he needed alignments every few weeks, fwiw..

i like my techarts, nice handling improvement and as comfortable or more so than stock...

hey guys, I can suggest the H&R springs. One of my friends has H&R on his car, it looks really nice. And he said that he was really happy and had no problems with it. Also just so you know the champion springs and the H&R springs are the same but the champion springs cost $200 more!

Now on to Eibach, I had Eibach springs on my old 350Z and the springs were supposed to lower the car only 1.2 inches, but it ended up lowering the car more than 2!!! it was ridiculous! the ride was harsh and the bottom hit in every bump...

Don't mean to hijack this thread MP85, Question to the experts pls;

drops:
H&R 1.2"
Eibach/Techart 1"

If you have an S(Carrera) which is lower 10mm(aprox .5"), does that mean that its factory PASM springs are shorter than the basic 911? If they are, would the S only gain .5" with the Eibach & .7 with H&R??

TIA

hey mike, I think that the Carrera S's are 10MM lower only when PASM is engaged! not exactly sure about it but I think that is how the PASM works.

That is on ROTW cars...US PASM cars are always 10mm lower than non PASM cars. This is for 997.1 cars.
