Passenger Side Creaking
Passenger Side Creaking
I feel a little stupid for asking this, but there is a creaking coming from inside the passenger side of the cabin (or immediately outside it) on my new 09 C4S, and I cannot figure it out. It only occurs when swerving (left to right, and visa versa) and does not appear to occur while going over any bumps. At first, I thought it may have been the sport bucket seats (P04) but I don't think it is. It isn't a loud creaking, the windows need to be shut and the radio off to really hear it, which is usually how I drive (the sound of the engine is my favorite radio station). It's just a little annoying and would like to know if anyone else had this issue, and if so, what exactly it is.
My 2007 C4S w/14k miles creaks a lot under stress. The sounds do appear to be coming from the general vicinity of the passenger side.
If the sounds continue bother you, you could get a tech from the dealer to ride with you. But unless it's a piece of trim coming loose, I doubt there is much the dealer can do about it.

Of course, a good test is to clip the passenger belt into the receptacle, and that should help by keeping the clip from banging around and also putting the feeder under some tension as well to hold it in place.
I believe I have the exact same creaking noise... although mine isn't coming from the passenger seat belt, it's coming from the point where the dash meets the passenger door.
The noise goes away when I ask my wife (or passenger) to push down on the plastic cladding nearest to the dash.
My temporary solution right now is to put a piece of furniture padding/felt with the double-sided tape onto to spot where the dash meets the door and the noise has more or less gone away.

Ahh, it sounds like you have "one" of the ghosts of Ferdinand Porsche with you!
Try to consider it a blessing, as unfortunately, my friend, your solution, while effective, is more than likely permanent.
These overly-plastic interiors creak, rattle, and squeek. Over time, you can defeat these gremlins with excesive use of felt tape, as the most common enimy is plastic on plastic.
Good luck, soldier.
