Air Vent removal

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the front and side air vents?

To see how easy it would be to replace them with the carbon version and also find out if it is the area where I'm hearing a rattle every time I hit a bump.

Put me on the list! I want to get rid of my vent rattle too!
I did a search and did not find anything. Maybe Macarbon has some info since they sell lots of carbon goodies.....I am looking now....

DBCarbon has a picture of the vents. Looks like you just pull them out? Does anyone know if the dials light up like the OEMs when you turn on the lights?

These are tough to remove, especially if you have the leather dash that you don't want to leave marks on. Its easiest with a rather strong hook shaped pick (not wimpy dental picks), in conjunction with a plastic dash pry tool, or thick credit card. Fortunately, installation is very easy once you remove.

See my photo below...reach in and grab and pull down on the latch in the middle. Note the center vent has 2 of these, and there will also be wires for illumination.
