I have been taken very much from what Chris Harris had done with his ex-911 and turned it into a beautifully customized RS.
Here's what I have done so far with my 997 C2S. Overall carbon treatment from RotTec (except the diffuser), custom mesh grills for the radiator and front air vent above the bumper, SuperSprint Mufflers, custom 76 mm chrome tips, Sprint Booster, K&N and yesterday, SuperSprint Cat bypass pipes.
Let me just say, cat bypass pipes really liven up the car enourmously, perhaps gained me a few hp's, and I can feel the throttle response and gained power under my foot.
Today, I checked out a few more items, a rollcage in red, H&R coilovers, a set of Sparco seats, and 2 sets of Brembo 380 mm GT breaks, removing backseats...
I think I will go with them, and turn my car into a modern day RS. Just what Chris had done with his own car. I'm sure the mods will feel and look tasteful without mucking up too much with the standard look and feel.

This 911 is simply awesome! 320hp with <1000kg . He got to sell it? To buy food and other boring stuff?! British humor?

Anyway your red 911 is also really nice! I love the carbon accents with the best looking 997 wheel you can get!
I wouldnt wait a second to switch my carrera s wheels with the sport design!

Planning on bolting the cats back up every year for the annual inspection? Yours is a pre '09 right? Then I guess you have the check engine light as well, right?

 

My next inspection is on 01/11 and I have no CEL as of now, it may appear later on or not, if it does, there is a piece that my local mech could manufacture to skip the CO2 check so there wouldn't be any error on the system.

Isn't Chris Harris the guy who used to write for GTPurelyPorsche and went on to do BMWs ? Is he back to Porsches?
