T33 is infamous around these parts
Not worth it to retrofit. Dealers will not do it and after market shops will ruin your seat and too much $$$ to install.

I was quoted $700 per seat for the heating pad plus installation.

Don't know about the Porsche, but my BMW's thermometer redlines at -40. Don't ask me how I know.

Well --we are back in the mid to upper 70's until the next cold snap and hopefully there won't be one. Usually we get about three per year but nothing like that last one .

I suppose its Florida's change of seasons . Short enough to want seat warmers but not long enough to intall them .

Well, at least we don't have to wonder whether you use Celsius or Fahrenheit.

nothing like heated seats and steering wheel (on my 750li). P-car has heated seats too, I use them when its chilly (30's-40'sf, not cold, like 3 degrees - that's nuts freezing cold), sunroof open and want to keep warm, without heat going full blast.

I'm originally from South Louisiana, so I don't deal real well with the cold weather (unless there's a cold 'beverage' to help keep me numb). Since it's been colder than normal in Dallas this year, I've used the heated seats for almost every drive I've taken (even the short 1-2 mile errands).

Funny thing, the ONE thing my wife has complimented my 911 on is it's great heated seats. She drives a Volvo that doesn't have then (go figure...swedish car without heated seats), and loves how quickly the seats in the 911 warm up.

Driving around in a rental in NJ this week, wishing I had my heated seats...
